PLEASE NOTE:
Most higher education institutions in the UK offer a variety of scholarships to students attending degree courses at that institution. These scholarships are not listed on this website. To find out more about scholarships awarded only to students studying at a particular university or college, students will need to contact Blue Sky Study. Naturally, students applying to study in the UK through Blue Sky Study are given all the possible help and assistance in finding and applying for all possible scholarships.
Value: FULL and PART scholarships
Chevening Scholarships are aimed at applicants for postgraduate studies or research at UK universities. Each year over 2000 students from 150 countries are sent to the UK to study, of which more than 150 come from China - the largest single national group.
FCO / CSC Chevening Scholarships
Value: FULL scholarships
This is the flagship UK-China programme responsible for sending up to 15 Chinese scholars a year to the UK to study for Master’s degrees.
Scottish International Scholarships
Value: FULL scholarships
Open to Chinese nationals wishing to undertake a one year taught master’s programme at a Scottish University.
Overseas Research Students Awards Scheme
Value: The difference between overseas tuition fees and home (UK and EU) tuition fees (£3070)
These awards are for international (non-EU) postgraduate (research only) students studying any subject full-time at certain UK higher education institutions that participate in the scheme. Up to 850 new awards are made each year.
China Scholarships Council (CSC) awards
Value: Various
CSC sponsors 1000’s of Chinese students every year, to undertake advanced level studies or research at home and abroad.
